Then this is followed by the formulation of the problem of scattering by two vertical cylinders. The special case of two identical circular cylinders is discussed. Finally, we formulate the problem of scattering by two partially immersed horizontal cylinders involving the derivation of the derivation of the addition formulae for the multiple potentials.
